Que fais-tu lorsque les grands sont trop vieux  et demander des cartes-cadeaux?  Je déteste donner des cartes-cadeaux, mais on fait ce qu’on doit faire.  Donc, je voulais faire une présentation un peu spéciale pour offrir leurs cartes-cadeaux. J’ai donc créé une boîte et une étiquette spéciale que j’ai été inspiré par Darlene Devries. Elle l’a fait à l’aide du poinçon de l’enveloppe. Stampin’ Up ne vend plus le enveloppe punch board, donc, j’ai créé le mien un peu différent. Je l’ai fait ressembler (j’espère) au manteau du Père Noël. Je l’ai fait avec 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 Cerise Carmin. J’avais besoin que ce soit un projet rapide, donc pas de trucs de fantaisie. Je l’ai aligné avec mon papier quadrillé avec tous les points au milieu. J’ai placé ma barre Ghirardelli où je le voulais, centré et fait des lignes de score à plier comme une enveloppe. J’ai ensuite créé la ceinture du Père Noël avec un morceau de carton noir 3/4 de large et assez long pour se rencontrer à l’arrière. Un morceau de 3/4” x 3/4” avec un morceau de 1/2” x 1/2” a servi de boucle de ceinture. L’ajout d’un morceau de carton blanc à l’arrière a donné de la place pour écrire À et De. Le trou pour le ruban a été fait avec un coup de poing tenu à la main que j’avais dans ma cachette. La boîte a été faite avec 2 morceaux de carton blanc épais 6-1/2 x 4-3/4 Marqué à 1/2” de tous les côtés. J’ai utilisé une cale pour le haut et l’ai marqué de la même manière que le bas pour un ajustement parfait.  Le PSD provient du catalogue de juillet à décembre et peut ou non être encore disponible. C’est un détail car cela pourrait être fait avec n’importe quel DSP et cardstock. J’espère que vous l’aimez. Je pensais que ce serait une étiquette mignonne pour un cadeau de carte-cadeau.

What do you do when the grands are too old to shop for and ask for gift cards? I hate giving gift cards, but you have to do what you have to do.  So to dress their gift cards up a bit I created a box and a special tag that I was inspired by Darlene Devries. She made it with the help of the envelope punch board. Since Stampin’ Up no longer sells the envelope punch board, I created mine without and a little different. I made it look (I hope) like Santa’s coat. I made it with 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 Cherry Cobbler. I needed it to be a quick project so no fancy stuff. I lined it up with my grid paper with all points on the middle. I placed my Ghirardelli bar where I wanted it, centered and made score lines to fold as an envelope. I then created Santa’s belt with a piece of black cardstock ¾ wide and long enough to meet in the back. A piece of 3/4’’ x 3/4’’ with a piece of 1/2’’ x 1/2’’  served as the belt buckle. Adding a piece of white cardstock in the back gave room to write To and From. The hole for the ribbon was made with a hand held punch I had in my stash. The box was made with 2 pieces of  thick white cardstock 6-1/2 x 4-3/4 Scored at 1/2’’ on all sides. I used a shim for the top and scored it the same as the bottom for a perfect fit.  The DSP is from the July-December catalogue and may or may not be still available. That is a small detail as this could be made with any DSP and cardstock. Hope you like it. I thought it would be a cute tag for a gift card gift
