Chaque mois, nous avons un nouveau thème. Le thème de ce mois-ci est Mamans, Papas, Mariées et Diplômés. Ma nièce m’a demandé de créer une carte de mariage pour elle alors c’est ce que j’ai choisi de faire. C’est un pli amusant qui a été conçu à l’origine par Sam Calcott. Cela semble difficile, mais quand vous comprenez ce qui se passe, la base n’est pas si difficile. C’est en pensant à la décoration qui m’a fait trébucher. Mais au final, j’aime vraiment ça. Si vous me connaissez, vous savez que j’aime le monochrome. Cela remonte à l’époque d’avant Stampin’ Up! quand j’avais du mal à assortir les couleurs. Je suis plus aventureux maintenant que Stampin’ Up me facilite la tâche. Mais, j’ai toujours un faible pour le monchromatique. Je pense que c’est très chic ! Ainsi, la base de la carte est Fresh Freesia, DSP est le motif de fleur Fresh Freesia de la collection Heart & Home. Voilà! Soyez à l’affût de ma classe sur la façon de créer cette carte et d’en faire un véritable Show Stopper.
Each month, we have a new theme. This month’s theme is Moms, Dads, Brides and Grads. My niece asked me to create a wedding card for her so that is what I chose to do. It is a fun fold that was originally designed by Sam Calcott. It looks difficult but when you understand what’s happening, the base is not so hard. It is thinking about decoration that had me stumped. But in the end, I do really like it. If you know me, you know I love monochromatic. It goes back to the days before Stampin’ Up! when I had a hard time matching colours. I am more adventurous now as Stampin’ Up makes it easy. But, I still have a soft spot for monchromatic. I think it is very chic! So, card base is Fresh Freesia, DSP is the Fresh Freesia flower pattern from the collection Heart & Home. That’s it! Be on the look out for my class on how to create this card and how to make it a real Show Stopper.
Vous remarquez comment il s’ouvre? Sam a ouvert de cette façon et j’ai décidé d’ouvrir le mien de la manière habituelle. Cependant, j’ai mal coupé mon papier pour que le mien finisse par s’ouvrir comme le sien.
Notice how it opens? Sam’s opened that way and I decided to open mine the usual way. However, I cut my paper incorrectly so mine ended up opening like hers.
J’adore cette carte et j’ai hâte de faire la version étendue pour la demande de ma nièce.
I love this card and can’t wait to make the extended version for my niece’s request.
