Anything but a card !

Anything but a card is our theme for the month of December. It is the perfect theme just before Christmas.

I have a few little things I needed small boxes for and I created these cute little 3-1/4 x 3-1/4. This size is perfect for what I needed, but they are a great size for 3 x 3 cards and enveloppes also.

I wanted a clean finish ( a lip) so once I knew what size I needed (3-1/4 x 3-1/4 by 1 inch and wanted a fold-over of 3/4). So I used cardstock that measures 6-3/4 x 6-3/4, scored at 3/4 and 1-3/4; cut of the small tab on all 4 corners and angle all tabs and the flaps on all four sides. Glue the tabs to form your box. Add tape to the inside of the flaps and fold over giving a smooth finish. You can watch the video for a more complete explanation. How I arrived at my measurements.
